Mentor Mentions: Advice That Actually Worked
Sometimes people explain the answer better than books.
Overthinking and burnout
Meditation did not work for me at that time.
What worked was deep involvement in meaningful work:
- Freelance projects
- Part-time gigs
- University responsibilities
- Intentional rest
That combination brought back fulfillment, accountability, and peace.
Gratitude
Special thanks to Akshat Saxena for being an excellent problem-setter during exam season — all-nighters became smarter, not harder.
And thanks to Arundhati Govekar for clearly explaining the GROW model, which helped create a forward roadmap.
Also grateful to Lakhan Singh for nudging me into Big Data.
Sometimes one right nudge is enough.
