The Alternate Checklist

At the start of the year, I made an alternate checklist.

The target was simple: if I could complete even half of it, I would call it a win.

What happened

• Made a decent amount
• Paid part of my fee independently
• Built valuable connections
• Met genuinely lovely people
• Learned key lessons the hard way

Biggest lesson

Relationships are everything.

Prioritize long-term, high-quality, mutually beneficial connections.

Next steps

• Volunteer for causes that matter
• Take leadership roles that challenge growth

I skipped these earlier and now I am intentionally coming back to them.
